It wasn’t until he was four that Taylor talked – but almost immediately, he was humming music & impersonating Elvis. Now 25, Taylor is a professional musician, voice actor, and co-founder/operator of the professional recording studio ‘Silverthorn Studios’. Once a finalist on Canadian Idol, Taylor has performed across Ontario & writes, produces and performs songs that garner millions of views for Youtube’s ‘Super Planet Dolan’. Taylor also wrote the music & lyrics for ‘The Beaver Den: A New Canadian Musical’, has written for CBC, and hit artists including Danny Fernandes & Peter Driemanis (of July Talk), along with writing the official theme song for two upcoming animated series, as well as Disney XD’s ‘Fangbone!’
In recent years, Taylor has also become an in-demand voice actor. He can be heard as a leading role in many series including the award-winning & mutli-CSA nominated ‘Fangbone!’ (Disney XD), Yuki in ‘Beyblade: Metal Fury’ (Cartoon Network), Jonas on ‘Bob The Slob!’ (Teletoon), Luis on the Emmy-nominated ‘The Future Is Wild’ (Teletoon/Discovery Kids), as well as supporting roles in series such as ‘George Of The Jungle’ (Nickelodeon), ‘Beyraiderz’ (Cartoon Network), ‘Looped!’ (DHX), ‘The 3 Amigonauts’ (YTV), and many more. For the popular live-action sitcom ‘The Stanley Dynamic’ (YTV), Taylor plays the lead character of Luke Stanley, who, is a normal teenager, except for the fact that he’s a cartoon. In order to seamlessly have the cartoon of Luke interacting with live action characters & environments, Taylor goes through the same rehearsal & filming process as all the other cast members.
