72: An Avonlea Christmas Movie with Steph Malek
Happy belated Holiday Episode! Both Becky and Cam were sick over Christmas - because we're always sick - but improviser and all around good sport, Stephanie Malik was game to come in and cover The Avonlea Christmas Movie in January. We admit we foisted this one on Steph, mostly because she said she liked the Lucy Maude Montgomery universe.
We're not recommending anyone watch this on purpose, but this episode, you'll find out the drinking game Becky developed to help get her through, the backstage drama on the Avonlea sets, why shooting this style requires theatre actors, and how to successfully relaunch your long-running television series two years after it was cancelled.
Don't stand around like some kind of "backstage doxie". Grab a nog that hasn't expired yet, and join us as we parse through the incredible world of Avonlea, and stay for Becky's fanfiction pitch of the Ingles vs. Avonlea vs. the Hatfields and McCoys.
